I've been working on a bot for crypto subs like /r/bitcoin for a few days now. Say hello to crypto_bot!

Hey guys, I've been working on crypto_bot for some time now. It provides a bunch of features that I hope will enhance your experience on /bitcoin (and any other subreddit). You can call it by mentioning it in a comment. I started working on this a few days ago. I'm constantly adding new features and will update this post when I do, but if you're interested I'll post all updates and some tips at /crypto_bot. Please either comment here, message me, or post there if you'd like to report a bug, request a feature, or offer feedback. There's also one hidden command :)
You can call multiple commands in one comment. Here's a description of the commands you can use:

Market Data:

crypto_bot
Responds with the USD price of one bitcoin from an average of six of the top bitcoin exchanges (BTC-E, Bitstamp, Bitfinex, Coinbase, Kraken, Cryptsy).
crypto_bot ticker
Responds with the USD price of one bitcoin at seven exchanges (all of the ones listed above, plus LocalBitcoins). Also lists the average at the bottom.
crypto_bot [exchange]
Responds with the USD price of one bitcoin from [exchange] (any of the seven listed above).
crypto_bot [litecoin|ltc|dogecoin|doge]
Responds with the USD price of one litecoin, or the price of 1 doge and 1,000 doge.
crypto_bot litecoin|ltc [exchange]
Responds with the USD price of one litecoin from BTC-E, Bitfinex, Kraken, or Cryptsy.
crypto_bot [currency]
Responds with the price of one bitcoin in the specified currency. Available currencies (symbols): JPY, CNY, SGD, HKD, CAD, NZD, AUD, CLP, GBP, DKK, SEK, ISK, CHF, BRL, EUR, RUB, PLN, THB, KRW, TWD.

Information:

crypto_bot [about|info] [arg]
Responds with a short description about [arg], as well as a link to an external site (Wikipedia, bitcoin.it, and some others) for more information. You can list multiple arguments and get a description for each. Available arguments: bitcoin, block chain, transaction, address, genesis, satoshi, mining, confirmation, coinbase, gox, cold wallet, hot wallet.
crypto_bot legal
Responds with a chart about the legality of bitcoin in 40 countries, copied straight from Wikipedia.
crypto_bot [explain transaction delay|explain tx delay]
Responds with an explanation of why transactions may take longer to confirm (the bot specifically discusses spam-transaction attacks in this command).

Network information/tools:

crypto_bot difficulty
Responds with the current difficulty of the bitcoin network.
crypto_bot [height|number of blocks]
Responds with the current height of the block chain.
crypto_bot retarget
Responds with what block the difficulty will recalculate at, as well as how many blocks until the network reaches that block.
crypto_bot [unconfirmed transactions|unconfirmed tx]
Responds with the current number of unconfirmed transactions.
crypto_bot [new address|generate address]
Responds with a newly-generated public and private key. This is mainly to provide an explanation of what both look like, and contains a clear warning to not use or send bitcoins to the address.
crypto_bot blockinfo [height]
Responds with information about block #[height], including its hash, time discovered, and number of transactions.
crypto_bot [address]
Responds with information about [address], including its balance and number of transactions.
crypto_bot [transaction_id]
Responds with information about [transaction_id], including what block it was included in, its size, and its inputs and outputs.

Calculators:

crypto_bot calc <# miningspeed> [#][w] [#][kwh] [#][difficulty] [hc$#] [$#] [#%]
Responds with calculations and information about how a miner would do with the above data (mining calculator). The only required field is mining speed. Order of the arguments does not matter. Everything other than hashrate defaults to the following if not given: w (watts): 0, kwh ($kilowatt cost/hour): 0, difficulty: current network difficulty, hc$ (hardware cost): $0, $: current bitcoin price in usd (according to Coinbase), % (pool fee): 0. The calculator does not account for nor allow for input of the increase/decrease of difficulty over time, though I may add this feature soon. Working hashing speeds: h/s, kh/s, mh/s, gh/s, th/s, ph/s.
Example usage: "crypto_bot calc 30th/s 10w .12kwh hc$55 1.5%" (to make it easier to remember, th/s can also be inputted as ths). This calls the bot with a hashrate of 30 th/s, electricity usage of 10w, a cost of $.12 kWh, a hardware cost of $55, and a pool fee of 1.5%.
crypto_bot number of btc <$amount to convert> [bp$bitcoin price]
Responds with the number of bitcoins you could buy with <$amount to convert>. If the comment specifies a [bp$bitcoin price], it calculates it with that exchange rate. Otherwise, it uses the rate from Coinbase.
Example usage: "crypto_bot $419.29 bp$180.32" This calculates how many bitcoins you can buy if you have $419.29 and the bitcoin exchange rate is $180.32.

Broadcasting

SignMessage! ""
Signs a message in the bitcoin block chain in a transaction using OP_RETURN. The message must be less than 40 characters.
Example usage: "SignMessage! "Post messages in the block chain!""
I hope you find this bot useful! Again, if you have any questions or comments, please either comment on this post, message me, or post on /crypto_bot.
Update 1 (June 24, 2015, 17:35): The bot now responds with information if you post a link to a block, transaction, or address on Blockchain.info in a comment, even if you don't call it. For example, if I wrote "https://blockchain.info/block/0000000000000000126448be07fb1f82af19fbbf07dd7e07ebcd08d42c2660cb" in a comment, it would respond with information about block #362,377.
Update 2 (July 10, 2015, 1:59): The bot now has two additional commands: "unconfirmed transactions" (or "unconfirmed tx") and "explain transaction delay" (or "explain tx delay"). The first command responds with the number of unconfirmed transactions, and the second explains why transactions might take extra time to confirm.
Update 3 (August 24, 2015, 1:34): The bot now responds in a better way than before when transaction ids or addresses are posted. Before, it only responded when the transaction id or address was used in a link to Blockchain.info. Now the bot will respond whenever a transaction id or address is posted at all; a link to Blockchain.info is no longer necessary.
Update 4 (August 27, 2015, 3:00): The bot can now sign messages in the Bitcoin block chain using OP_RETURN.

Monero FAQ

Hi, it’s some weeks that I’m getting into Monero and I really see a great future for it. My problem is that I have a very low budget so my mining capability is a joke (around 80 h/s). I cannot help this coin to grow by mining it, so I’m making this FAQ hoping that can be useful for new users. If you want to support me, the tip jar is at the end of this post. Thank you!

I noticed a lot of confusion around Monero. Many of the most asked question are basically the same , so I collected some of them from /monero, /moneromining and monero.stackexchange and I made this Monero Faq. Please feel free to suggest any new frequently asked question or correction/modification/ (also about the grammar, my english is not very good), i’d like to keep this post updated.

My reviews of bitcoin exchanges and services my business used

Over the past weeks myself (a 23 year old from Vancouver, Canada) & my business partner (a 21 Regensburg, Germany) have tried a lot of different XBT exchanges and sellers. He reddits a lot and suggested I type up what I wrote down about our experience to share them with you.
Great experiences:
Kraken - 9.8
General: Kraken is one of the better platforms we used, mostly when dealing with the Euro. We opened a Kraken account, made a $5000 USD deposit and a €7000 deposit and were ready to begin trading in under 24 hours. We ran into no problems with them, our orders filled quickly and the emails that we had with their team were fairly straight forward. More payment methods would make them a 10.
Pros: They have many pair listings, special types of trading orders including stop loss, take profit, and others. They accept SEPA payments for Euro and bank wires for most other deposits. They have good security practices (https://www.kraken.com/security/practices) and have done an audit with proof of solvency (https://www.kraken.com/security/audit). Well known team, public facing. Has LTC, NameCoin and Ripple.
Cons: Does not accept ACH payments for US users. Lack's transparency of cost on USD bankwires (TBD*). Some users have raised concerns over the pasts of the investment team (this had no impact on score but should be mentioned). Support team was quick and solved our problems.
Bitstamp - 9.5
General: Bitstamp is a market leader and great exchange. We had a very good experience with them. They are probably our default choice if we had to use a general USD exchange to run an ATM or something. We made a deposit of $15,000 USD and trading went smoothly. It is important to note this exchange we withdrew only in Bitcoin, we did not try the Fiat withdrawals. Full transparency could make them a 10.
Pros: Large volume, great liquidity, fairly quick to get an account open and money deposits. Our time from opening an account to trading was under 24 hours. They take a decently low fee .5% Has a proof of reserves audit by third-party.
Cons: Audit is third-party and not proof of solvency. Little is known about management team. Bankwires are only real method to be used here. Does not allow trading in non-USD. Trades are only do Bitcoin. Many claims of Bitstamp freezing users Bitcoin under AML/KYC claims and asking for lots information such as signed wallets proving source of those coins (We did not experience this).
Vault of Satoshi - 9.2
General: Vault of Satoshi is a much smaller exchange then the other "great" exchanges but they do really awesome things for XBT. Their team was very supportive and really quick. We had our account open, verified and trading in under an hour ON A SUNDAY. It was the fastest set up time of any exchange that deals with fiat currency. For user experience and security they would be our top pick. International support and higher volume could make them a high 9 if not a 10.
Pros: High security (http://www.reddit.com/vos/comments/27hd8d/are_my_coins_safe_on_vos/ci0yeua) and transparency including daily generation of Proof of Solvency audits, very transparent team (https://www.vaultofsatoshi.com/about) who are active on Reddit. Allows trading of over 20 coins to both fiat and to any other coin. Has Interac deposits for Canadians, they apparently can take an hour or two to enter the account, but ours took maybe ten minutes. Easily the fastest deposit method we found.
Cons: Pretty much just for Canadians unless you transfer coins in for day trading. Supposed to be expanding soon. Volume was lower but seems to be picking up. Needs a lot of personal information. Would be great to see more payment methods outbound.
Good Experiences:
Coinbase - 8.7
General: Coinbase is a great service, backed with good money and clearly a very secure environment. Being a dual resident and citizen I was able to use Coinbase for some of our purchases via my US bank account. It was really quick to open an account and get buying. We bought around $5000 worth of Bitcoin to send into other coin-only exchanges. The support staff were helpful, but could have been trained a bit more about Bitcoin knowledge. Overall things went really well. More coins, international support and proof of solvency could put it up to a 9.
Pros: Clear set price not dealing with any "orderbooks", great platform very easy and straight foward to user. Great for new users. Has ACH payments for American Users so you don't have to do a bankwire. It is backed by a major investors. Has stable relationships with a bank unlike many other small exchanges. It is fast, secure, and friendly support staff.
Cons: Not a full exchange, US only, support can be slow to respond, has no proof of reserves, promotes the use of online wallet services. Does not allow you to buy or sell coins other than XBT.
Cryptsy - 7.2
General: Was used for dealing with smaller altcoins that weren't on other exchanges. Our total volume on there was roughly 8 BTC. Deposits went fairly smoothly, although we did have to contact support in regards to one submission of Blackcoin that did not appear in our balance. The support team was slow and rather rude but did get the job done eventually.
Pros: No verification needed for trades, deposit and go. Lots of currency pairs. High volumes. Strong platform. Great chart features. Great price ticker on the side.
Cons: No proof of funds, not much security, doesn't support fiat, support team is kind of a pain to deal with if something does go wrong. Should really only use if you are day trading
QuadrigaCX- 7.0
General: QuadrigaCX is a small Canadian exchange. All around a decent service we only did around $500 transaction with them in order to do a quick test but we were quite happy with the Canadian provider we had selected. These guys are decent backup. It took less than 48 hours to get my account open and trading. If they had proof of solvency and support staff then we would have likely given them an 8 or a 9.
Pros: Low fee (0.5%), has book for XBT/AU (gold). Has online interac payments.
Cons: Not large books, no proof of solvency, lower transparency, called contact number twice during operation hours and got voicemail, email response was next day and was short but answered my questions.
InstaBT - 6.5
General: These guys are similar in concept to a Coinbase. It's small limit purchases of XBT instantly. Site looks a little dodgy but they are an accepted payment method on Vault of Satoshi so we decided to give them a try for about $100 in XBT.
Pros: It was quick and easy and did not require any type of I.D. verification. We had a support phonecall and the guy seemed friendly enough. Lower fees would make this method a 7.
Cons: Has limits and really high fees. I think the fee was around 9%.
QuickBT - 6.4
General*: These guys are pretty much the same as above, although rather than being used for Vault of Satoshi they are used for CAvirtex. The service was all in all the same, nicer website, did $100 in XBT. Only reason for the lower score is when they guy called me to verify my phone number he was a bit of a grump. Lower fees and friendly support would increase their score.
Pros: Quick online interac without verification
Cons: Guy was a bit of a grump, and had really high fees.
Bad Experiences
CAVirtex - 4
General: CAvirtex is a Canadian only exchange. If I am not mistaken it's the oldest one around. They only do XBT and LTC. We did about $10,000 through them before we started exploring other options. A number of accusations have been posted in this sub against them that make them questionable, but their user support, slow time in dealing with funds and general attitude towards there users is what got them the low score from us. There would need to be lots of changes to raise their score.
Pros: Usually the price is a few bucks cheaper here than at other exchanges, not sure why though. You can withdraw your money to a pre-paid debit card.
Cons: In our experience we found it extremely slow to get started. We tried to open an account and it was almost a week before we got verified. We made a deposit via Direct Debit (EFT) and it took about a week before it showed up in our account. When we tried to reach out to support about this it took 3 days before we got a snippy reply. All in all we were not impressed. It's not how people should handle customers.
The Rock Trading - 2.5
General: We had decided to try this Malta based e-trading platform with our Euro funds. The exchange is rather small but has some ok features. Ultimately we only did about €700 before we got fed up using them. They support SEPA payments which is great but their support team could not give a shit about you.
Pros SEPA payments, lots of currency support, BTC shares
Cons: By far the worst support around
LocalBitcoins - No Score
General: Localbitcoins pairs you with sellers in your area, digitally or by meet up and then exchange Bitcoin. Before we got into exchanges I had done maybe $2500 through localbitcoin purchases. You always end up over paying, you have to meet up with the person which is time consuming and you never know who you are going to get.
Pros: The only real advantage to this method is that you aren't going through an exchange and having to verify. It allows those who are worried about their identity to keep it secure
Cons: You end up way over paying for the bitcoins that you purchase, you never know who you are going to get and some users have even been mugged at such meetups. In my case I arranged to meet someone and waited over an hour at the meetup spot and no one showed up.

Beginner's Guide to Exchanges - Part 2

Beginner’s Guide to Exchanges – Part 2

A little late, but as promised here is Part 2 of the Beginner’s Guide to Exchanges. I would like to sincerely thank everyone for their support and feedback in making these.
Link to Part 1
This time I also made a Google Docs survey in the hopes of sharing the results with the community. I thought we could share what we use as a whole and why redditors choose the exchanges they do. For skeptics (as you all should be), I assure you that I am not collecting personal information. This is for recreation and if you are still wary, then by all means abstain!

In Part 3 I will be wrapping up this series by covering decentralized, semi-decentralized, and derivative exchanges. Here it goes!

06 – Fiat Exchanges – South Korea

안녕하세요 여러분! 혹시 우리 한국인 친구 이 보고서를 한국어로 읽고 싶어한다면 알려주세요. 관심이 많이 있다면 간단한 한국어 보고서도 만들 수 있습니다. This year, ETH has taken off like a rocket in the Land of the Morning Calm. With a population of just 50 million, South Koreans account for almost 30% of daily ETH trade volume. Even more surprising is that currently the daily volume of ETH is about 5 times higher than that of Bitcoin on Korean exchanges. Since demand is high, ETH is trading at a premium on Korean exchanges. Some users have been talking about capitalizing off this imbalance by trading on arbitrage between exchanges. For those who have no connection to Korea and hope to do so, I have bad news – all Korean exchanges require a National ID number and access to a Korean bank account. This makes Korean exchanges virtually closed to Korean nationals and those with long-term visas. Sorry everyone.

07 – Fiat Exchanges – China

With a great deal of anticipation, major Chinese exchanges started trading ETH this summer. Since these exchanges deal huge volumes of Bitcoin already, naturally it was expected that they invest heavily into ETH as well. So far this hasn’t quite lived up to the hype with many exchanges still favoring Bitcoin, Litecoin, Altcoins, and even Ethereum Classic (Gulp). Three of these exchanges underwent inspections by the Peoples Bank of China earlier this year and will be working closely with the government to ease fears of money laundering and market manipulation. There are a lot of Chinese sites, and since my Chinese is non-existent this list is basically just for name recognition. In many ways these sites are very similar in regards to security, verification, and fees compared to their western counterparts; just marketed at a different audience and currency. If users are seriously interested in these exchanges and making reviews, please contribute or ask!

The Polo Effect on BTC Price

I believe this is my second Reddit post. I am 99.9% in read-only mode via ZeroBlock, which usually results in an antacid with my lunch. For something to happen in the Bitcoin space that causes me to sit down and initiate conversation, then I believe the community is missing something big. This is my story and the effect on the crypto space.
A few months back, BTC price took a nose dive hitting a low around $900. This was a mass exodus of asset holdings from Bitcoin to alts according to the dive in Bitcoin’s percentage of total market cap: https://coinmarketcap.com/charts. Some call it “the flippening” and the cause for the drastic shift into alts is the same reason btc exists.
Well-seasoned with trading markets (formerly Series 7 licensed) I decided to give the largest trading exchange a try: Poloniex. I fully understand the risk of holding coins on an exchange, but ultimately decided that part of this risk is offset by diversification into smaller alts. I setup 2FA and transferred most of my coins.
Up until Sunday there were no issues. The combination of new money coming into this space along with a greater flow of BTC being used as an entry point into alts was a no lose situation. The gains the last month were ridiculous. I mostly dabbled in top 20 market cap alts, but even DOGE has rocket boosters on.
Sunday night my brother and I are both dinking around in Polo and experience lag. It was not my local connection as the trollbox users were experiencing the same lag. Polo’s servers were on the edge and no one knew it yet.
My brother leaves and I go long on an alt and within 20 minutes, Poloniex’s front end will no longer execute trades. The trollbox still worked and there was severe lag, but trading was not stopped. Whales with access to auto trading bots via API decided to execute sells from all alts into BTC safety. The site took approximately 45 minutes to rectify, with all alts blood red. I sold my margin long alt at a 3 BTC loss and had no idea what just happened. This was around 1/20th of my altfolio and the gains from the previous month covered that with no worries. As an IT guy who has installed servers in datacenters, I laid awake most of the night staring at the ceiling trying to put the technical pieces together.
Going long on Polo means that you are not just betting that your alt will rise, but it has to rise greater than BTC as the pricing is per BTC. For example, LTC right now is .0179 BTC. As it turns out, Polo front end server outages are a worst case scenario for margin longs and this was the first of many.
The lag continued into Monday so I decide to place limit orders on three different alts 15-20% below market price in case of another outage. All three of my orders hit on the next outage and the price flies back up in correction. I sell two of the three positions at a profit and decide to hold 600 LTC for a day or two. Then the worst possible thing happened. The Polo servers crashed two additional times in quick succession and a fourth time this morning around 10 AM EST before total price correction. At one point, my altfolio was down almost 40%. LTC was at .0203 on Sunday before the first Polo crash. My position was at .017 and by the time the worst crash hit it was at a low of .0131. BTC was flying up but my altfolio was wrecked. I survived with strong hands and was not over-leveraged, selling this afternoon a little over break-even. Most alts recovered to about 90% of pre-first Polo outage prices. ETH lost 1 billion in market cap at the worst point and all this alt money flowed into BTC, thus the price influx since Sunday.
Thousands of other users experienced the equivalent of Mt. Gox 2.0. Total loss. One guy on the trollbox said he felt like jumping out a window. Another guy setup PoloniexLawsuit.com which now re-directs to Polo. I doubt the guy would forward his URL to Polo unless they reimbursed him in whole. I have no doubts there will be a class action regardless. The NYSE shuts down tickers all the time and have circuit breakers built in. In my opinion, Polo is not liable because of the server issues (and lack of DDOS protection), but because they did not pull the plug allowing unacceptable losses.
I have to give credit to Polo for one thing, the API was shut down on the fifth server lockup this morning, no orders from API bots. I know this because the candles flat lined at a certain point for about 45 minutes. At this point, I noticed that Kraken and GDAX prices held within 1% of Polo’s outage price on all coins. Polo would not admit they effective shut down all trading when the front end went down, but I am sure of it.
Bad things happen when technology does not scale. Good luck Bitcoin, I’ll be back when you are ready.

Daily Coin Review - "Payment Coins rally hard, Koreans figuring their sh*t out, and a Technical Chart Check"

Daily Coin Review's unbiased News and Analysis
News:

Can South Korea become the first country where voice of people overthrows Governmental Regulations on Crypto?

South Koreans have roared against their Government’s proposed Cryptoexchange ban. They are up in arms against their Government’s proposed move to ban Cryptoexchange trading.
A petition on the website of Blue House – Presidential seat of power – has gathered more than 120,000 signatures. The overwhelming response led to a crash of the website.
The President’s office has landed in an awkward position and has said that “the ban is just one proposal under consideration”
A survey conducted by a popular Korean job portal showed that about 30% of Korean office workers invest in Cryptos; with the average investment being in excess of $5,000.
Koreans; especially the younger ones, see Crypto trading as an important source of income and strongly oppose any move to restrict the booming trade.
With popular uprising against the uninformed decision, the only question that remains now is – would Koreans force their Government to retract from a draconian decision, and would South Korea become the first country to be democratized by Blockchain and the Crypto power?

Markets bounce back; Greenery found this Friday

The Crypto markets are back and how! Boosted by the Ripple-Moneygram deal announcement the overall market cap showed first 24hr green movement of the week. Ripple rallied handsomely and rose to over $2.
Joining Ripple was Stellar – which now has broken decisively into the Top 10 Cryptocurrencies by market cap. Boosted by a CNBC report touting Lumens as the next Coin to watch, the currency showed an upmove of 33%.
Seemingly the payment space is on fire after SBI, IBM, and now the Moneygram deal.
Time for the other payment altcoins to shine?

Ticker Headlines:
• Moneygram ties up with Ripple, XRP jumps back to over $2
• Kraken outage hits hard
• Singapore states it will extend its Money Laundering laws (AML/CFT) to Cryptocurrencies. Move likely to increase regulatory scrutiny in future
• Popular messenger Line may support Cryptocurrency payments soon

Technical Chart Check:
It is a green day today in the market, with most of the Cryptos bouncing back in the last 24 hours.
However, we are still testing the Double bottom formation. With a falling Head-and-Shoulder pattern emerging, it looks like the $12,000 support range on BTC would be tested once again.
https://imgur.com/a/CxY5H
While the community is still trying to figure out how effective technical patterns are for BTC, Daily Coin Review strongly believes that common chart patterns – such as the one highlighted above (named “Falling Head and Shoulders”) – are an obvious illustration of trader’s psyche and hence likely to happen.
If BTC breaks the $12,000 support zone then we are looking at a psychological support at the $10,000 mark.
https://imgur.com/a/Z6tDv
Real close attention should be paid on the volume bars below. Over the last week, the red bars are larger than the green bars. This indicates that there is more volume on the sell side.
Compare the bearish looking BTC chart with that of ZCash and Ether, and one will quickly realize which Cryptocurrency is likely to outperform.
https://imgur.com/a/sWgTa
https://imgur.com/a/rFXoj
Daily Coin Review is of the view that the markets are due for a slight correction led by the heavyweight Bitcoin. However, ZCash, Ether, and Stellar are expected to outperform, i.e. fall less and rise more.
Until the next Bulletin,
Team Daily Coin Review

Announcing StakePool Bitcoin Trading Community - Realtime Audio and Text Interaction with Traders - Open To All

StakePool is a new community of bitcoin traders and enthusiasts. Over the past couple months we have been building tools that are useful to daytraders and casual observers alike.
Getting into trading can be tough, as a community we have helped many people ease into it and having a safe place to ask questions and interact with knowledgable traders.
Here's some of the stuff we provide in our completely open and free community:
—Jonas Schnelli, Core Dev —Olivier Janssens, leader in Bitcoin Classic —Sam Patterson, Co-founder of OpenBazaar
—When Coinorama was taken down we took the source, made some modifications, and rehosted it on our robust AWS.
We have regulars from multiple important exchanges like Bitfinex, Kraken, and others who are engaging in active discussion on a variety of issues.
Timely information is important in the markets. By having a direct audio and text line through our platforms to other traders, you are able to get plugged in 100% realtime.
We are open to everyone. There is no fee or any censorship. We are oldschool bitcoiners and we keep things free for all, in every way.
We hope this community resource can be of benefit to anyone out there who wants to have instant interaction with bitcoiners or who have an interest to get involved with trading.

Introducing CryptocoinTicker, a desktop application for Cryptocoin exchanges

After seeing this post about a physical desktop ticker for cryptocurrencies, and seeing that a lot of the requests in that post were for software, not hardware, (and since it's not in direct competition), I decided to post about the program I wrote last weekend.
CryptocoinTicker is a Windows application for showing Cryptocurrency market data, it currently has a candle chart (draggable and scrollable), a Depth chart, automatically updates data from the APIs of exchanges and new exchanges can be easily added as plugins.

It currently supports MtGox, BTCe, Kraken, Bitstamp and Vircurex, and for those sites it should support all available currency pairs.
Historical data is saved locally, but due to restrictions in some of the APIs its history data doesn't go too far back on first start.
I first posted about it on the Litecoin subreddit 2 days ago.
I hope it helps some of you guys :)
